    • What is a Preferred Vendor?
      • Preferred vendors are vendors contracted directly with bolt, which means they get notified when a customer has filed a claim and chosen to go to one of their locations. After a repair is complete, the repair vendor will bill bolt directly for parts and labor.
    • How it works
      • Create a claim using bolts claim portal.
      • Select In-network walk-in repair
      • Enter a Credit card to hold your deductible 
        • Your card will not be charged until the device has been repaired
      • Using the bolt claim portal, choose a location where you wish to take your device
      • A repair order will automatically be created at the store you selected.
      • Go to the store, provide them with your claim number and have your device repaired. It's that easy.
    • Why can't I search for a preferred vendor location?
      • If you do not see a preferred vendor option when filing your claim, it likely means that our vendors do not service your particular type of device. You will have the option to either select your own vendor, or mail your device into our facility for repair.
    • What happens if my device is unrepairable
      • If the preferred repair store deems your device unrepairable, the store will notify bolt, your repair deductible hold will be released from your card, and bolt will issue you a payment to satisfy your claim.
      • You will receive an email with instructions on how to claim your reimbursement.
