How to file a claim on my device?

Steps to file a claim

Here is the process for filing claims: 

  • Login to your bolt account and file your claim from your phone or the web.
    • Log in to My bolt Claims Portal 
      • If you have not activated your account, you will need to do so by first clicking activate my account when prompted on the login screen. 
  • Your claim will be adjudicated, and a decision will be made immediately after you complete the claims steps. This is quick and painless. 

Repairs:  

  • During the claims process, bolt will determine if your device is eligible for repair. Eligibility is based of factors such as device type, make, model and what you tell us is wrong with the device. Once your claim has been approved you will be presented with options to get your device back up and running.

Notes: 

  • Your deductible is subtracted from any claim payouts. (for example, if your screen repair is $158 after tax, and the repair deductible for your phone is $49, you would receive a payout of $109)  
  • Claims decisions may take longer if additional documentation is required to adjudicate the claim.
