Why Is The Option to Start a Claim Not Available?

  1. This may be due to the details of your current plan. If you have the Extended Warranty Only plan, the option will be greyed out because, during the first year of ownership, electrical and mechanical malfunctions or failures are covered by BackMarket's warranty. The second year of coverage is provided by us.

    *To obtain warranty service from the BackMarket seller, please log into your BackMarket account and request assistance through your Orders page. 
  2. Your coverage period has ended. Please review your policy documents to verify your coverage dates.
  3. There is an open claim on your account. If you have recently filed a claim, and it is still in progress, you will not be able to file a new one until the first claim has been processed.
  4. Your coverage was cancelled. If your policy was cancelled more than 30 days ago, you will no longer be eligible to file a claim.
