A Fedwire routing code, also known as an ABA routing number, is a nine-digit code that identifies a bank in the United States. It's used to locate the branch where a payment is to be made through Fedwire.
The Fedwire routing code and ACH routing code are normally the same. To make sure, please use the “Search by details” tool.
When you are on the Bank Account Detail portion select Search By Details (Image 1)
Then you will enter details about your bank, the below example shows Name and City (Image 2), the search results will display based on the details entered.
You will then find the bank/location you want and click the check mark (Image 3)
The details will autopopulate in the correct fields and format needed to process a payment (Image 4).
Lastly, you will just need to supply their account number.
Please note that after using the "Search by Details" feature, leave any remaining empty fields blank unless they are marked as required.
